Farm Tours
Visit Careship farm to meet our slimy snails. Farm tours can be arranged for groups only. During these educational and interesting tours, you will find out about the life cycle, breeding and harvesting processes as well as the concept of care farming or therapeutic farming. Depending on the season, you might have a tasting of snail meat.
Please wear comfortable outdoor clothing, sensible shoes and hat, and bring a camera if you like. We can provide morning or afternoon tea at extra cost.
Farm visits do not run on a regular basis, but only if there is sufficient interest. Contact us to book for a 30min – 1 hour tour. We can no longer provide farm tours to individuals but are happy to cater for groups of at least 10 persons.
Fees:
Social support: $25 per day
Farm tours (min. 5 persons): $ 5 per person
Farm tour plus morning or afternoon tea: $15 per person

Tuesdays - 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
Wednesdays - 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
Fridays - 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
